Walk For Freedom

Come and join in the fun, and bring the family, including any 4-legged friends you may have!! Just £8.00 to register for adults, half price for children, and 4-legged participants are totally free! It's a 5 mile sponsored walk around Glasgow Green (option to do just 2.5 miles), starting at 11am, between the play area with the pirate ship and the car park in Greendyke Street. This is a fun way to raise those much needed funds for the bears, dogs & cats in Asia.

There will also be face painting, and an Animals Asia stall of course. You can register online via Meetup (joining Meetup is free) and download a sponsorship form here, or you can contactus via email for a registration form and sponsorship form. You can see a map of the route on Jogtracker, where you can also go to street view.

UPDATE - WHAT WE RAISED ON THE DAY: on 13th May we are still waiting on some sponsorship money to come in. So far we have raised £120 in registration fees, £155.50 in sponsorship, and £63.00 in merchandise sales. We have been told that over £300 ist still to come in sponsorship, so a good result for the first Scottish Walk for Freedom!
